The idea for dialogue beyond our class on Calvin’s Institutes is the seed that has now grown into the site that you see before you. It is our hope that these important discussions related to Calvin’s work would be carefully reflected on so that we may better understand God’s word and have a stronger impact on the world around us. It is not mere theological speculation or glib, reformation pedantry with which we now embark on this path of Biblical sensibility; it is an opportunity to engage Scripture shoulder-to-shoulder with one of Christendom’s most influential thinkers, and to wrestle with the implications of his theology as we hold a Bible in one hand and his Institutes in the other.
